I feel the traffic from the Green Lane/Otley Road junction is already too much and we’re currently in a national lockdown! I could look out of my window on a Saturday morning and see a tail stretching all the way back to Coach Road. Midweek you have bad traffic from Salts school and the usual work traffic too.
Another point is wildlife. The last few years, the field has been home to a family of deer. I believe that they come down there to give birth and the use the field until winter comes. Add to that the hundreds of squirrels that use the trees in the field as a playground. New houses would ruin quite a few animals habitats.
