This is an unattractive site which has lain derelict for over 50 years since the removal of the railway line which previously occupied it. Although this site is in the green belt it is but a small part of its parcel from which it is separated by a tree line. Development of 20 housing units will not, therefore, have a significant effect on GB purposes. Therefore, if the Council are determined to release GB in Ilkley, this site is the least damaging candidate.
