High number of developments on greenfield sites in the idle and Thackley area in recent years. (Idle Moor, cote farm)
Idle Moor should not be considered for further development as it is a green open space. It is very popular since lockdown for families and dog walkers. Important for both mental and physical well-being for Local people. Loss of this green space will push locals into use of cars to travel to other areas for these activities. This and the distance of the development from the main roads and amenities will also increase carbon emissions.
