The planning is on a green belt which is supposed to be protected.
The fields act as a natural drain, building new settlements increases flood risk.
There are a couple or threatened bird species which live on the field.
They are plenty of brownfield sites in and around Bradford that can be used instead without the need to build onto green space.
The traffic around cottingley will become worse.
