I object to the use of BA4/H for housing on the grounds of overshadowing and overlooking Springcliffe House. The extra traffic and congestion, which will be caused on Green Lane, and the junction of Green Lane and Otley Road. Traffic will back up and cause problems for Otley Road, Green Lane and Cliffe Lane. This is already a dangerous area for traffic and pedestrians. Part of this site (the old college site) has had problems with severe flooding in recent years causing damage to housing and businesses, and on one occasion people in the corner house had to rescued by lifeboat. Green Lane regularly gets flooded with surface rainwater as there are drainage problems. Trees and grassy areas provide a natural habitat for wildlife and must be beneficial to the environment.
