Apart from the seventeenth century Hollin Hall (hidden behind trees), immediately to the west, there is currently no ribbon development on the north side of Skipton Rd/A65 until after Victoria Avenue. Developing this site would then put pressure on these intervening roadside open fields which currently have significant landscape value in opening up the country views towards Addingham and the Dales.
