I object to the housing plan for the Long Lee/Thwaites Brow area proposed in this local plan, most of the planned sites are on Greenfield if not Green Belt land, I am sure there is much more easily available Brownfield sites to build on across the Bradford area. There are already highways issues in Long Lee and this would increase traffic, some of the sites are very close to junctions (Harden Road) or on narrow roads (Moss Carr Road). The school could not accommodate a significant increase in pupils and traffic, parking at school is already a huge problem and this area is very dangerous at times. The bus service to Long Lee does not run often enough for the current residents never mind additional residents. There is a lot of agricultural land in Long Lee, that is currently farmed by cattle farmers, it would be wrong to replace this.
