I am objecting due to my concerns regarding the impact on local communities, wildlife and flood risks. The field near Marchcote Lane is home to a number of threatened species including the skylark and curlew. To build on this land would remove essential habitat. Marchcote Lane often floods - reducing absorbent fields would increase the risk and potential damage to local homes. The area is already congested with traffic and would cause even more congestion. This is a Green Belt site and it is my view that additional housing is not a positive or sustainable plan in this area.
