Representation ID: 4761

Received: 24/03/2021

Respondent: Miss Jaimie Woodhead

Representation Summary:

refused 3 times by planning already, and appeals dismissed, Reasons have only got worse, How can this now be allowed. The plan will increase traffic congestion, car pollution and noise pollution. Marchcote and Lysander way is the main rout children walk to school from Cottingley Increasing RISK to Life
This is not in keeping with Bradford councils desire to reduce its carbon foot print.
Increased car pollution is detrimental to local health especially children, elderly and vulnerable.
There will also be significant strain on local school places. (see reports on planning site)
The land provides water absorption to reduce flooding
There is increased knowledge and understanding of environmental issues and a will to preserve it. Therefore I would suggest a loss of wild life habitat in green belt is not what the majority of the local public would want.
The proposed site will devastate the local environment and bio diversity.
