Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 5335

Received: 24/03/2021

Respondent: Lee Davies

Representation Summary:

Specific:
1)The land between the golf course and existing site regularly has deers and other rare wildlife - further construction disturbs this.
2)Black Dyke View was sold to residents as a quiet cul-de-sac and often has children playing safely on the street. Turning this into a through road increases risk and mis-selling
3)Traffic along brighouse and Denholme gate main road to the traffic lights near Tesco is becoming a significant issue, especially at peak times. Further contribution is not welcomed.

General:
1)Queensbury's greenbelt needs some protection as a general area of natural beauty with wildlife, views and open space. The sheer amount of proposed development is too much for one area to take and will significantly alter the current village feel to the negative
2)The local infrastructure cannot take all of these additional houses. Doctors, schools, traffic etc are at breaking point already.
