This site has already been the subject of at least two outline planning applications both of which were withdrawn due to significant objection and issues raised by the local community and statutory consultees. Key objections raised and I agree with were inappropriate access route via Woodlands Grove and Walker Wood, road safety, damage to ecology, biodiversity, protected trees and ancient woodland, lack of sustainable drainage, effect on significant watercourse, the negative effect upon the World Heritage Site of Saltaire, insufficient parking and overspill, the destruction and lack of replacement of one perfectly adequate and serviceable property on Walker Wood.
