Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 5441

Received: 24/03/2021

Respondent: Mr Steen West

Representation Summary:

The traffic on the queens head park and Brighouse and denholme gate road is busy enough as it it, 40 houses with atleast 1/2 cars per household would just add to congestion, and pollution to the area. Using the access point from harrowins or black dyke view would be dangerous for children that play on the streets, as it’s currently a dead end. The wildlife in this area is amazing, badgers, deer and foxes that bring pleasure to the many residents of QHP would be destroyed. Would extra schools, doctors etc be built to accommodate these and other houses in the area? This would just add to over crowding in the area, in which has beautiful views, and land that is green belt.
