I accept that the council has to identify sites as required by the government. However previous local plans required improvements to the narrow bridge in Coney Lane before extra housing could be built. This has not materialised but will be urgently needed with a further 500 new homes in the Long Lee, Parkwood/Woodhouse area. Traffic lights at the junction of Parkwood St/Park Lane and a mini roundabout at the junction of Coney Lane and Low Street might help with the large amount of extra traffic which all these houses will bring.
