Children in the area need a space to play and this grass is essential for their well-being at a time when children have already suffered enough.
The view from the surrounding houses will be seriously affected.
The noise from the building work will be significant in the middle of a residential area.
The traffic is already a problem in the area and this will only be exacerbated by this development.
Local residents need some green space for their well-being and mental health and not all residents are able to walk as far as local parks for their fresh air.
