I support the proposals in this area because the current site is an eyesore - I would like to ask why it has been left in this state for so long, and more importantly, have chemicals been used to maintain the land in such a bare state - it appears to have been treated to stop vegetation growing, an action which would have been detrimental to natural wildlife and ecology. Please can you confirm whether this is the case.
