Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 806

Received: 06/03/2021

Respondent: Miss Rachael Simpson

Representation Summary:

There are already too many cars in & around cottingley. Exiting to the main road is already very busy at peak times. Traffic around the school is particularly bad as there is nowhere to park. Accessing or exiting the proposed housing via March cote Lane would be problematic as already a lot of parked cars & traffic. Exiting via Coppy close would be an issue as only a single car can pass through. Airedale avenue is not much better. Flooding is already an issue for houses at the bottom of March cote Lane, particularly Manor Fold & additional houses would exacerbate the problem. Not enough parking at the shops or around the community centre for additional vehicles, this can already be full if there are events at the community centre
