Loss of recreational space and panoramic views . Access for the area concerned is already poor and in winter conditions dangerous due to steep roads and lack of council assistance when icy. Buildings will detract from the beautiful views of Saltaire in particular Salts Mill .The area concerned is landfill of a previous quarry and presumably in need of major development to render safe building land. Access to the site would either be from Moor View or Wycliffe Road both have poor junction access and egress, either into Kirkgate with its restricted view or the very busy Saltaire Road.
