This is valued open space used by the whole community. Government and local policies show that recreation open space like this is supposed to be protected. My son and the other children in the neighborhood play here. This space is vital to our community well being. We need our green space to protect us against local air pollution problems. This open space provides some space for our local wildlife in a densely populated area including owls and bats. I urge Bradford Council to use brownfield sites and other spaces that are not in use by the community for new development.
