Houses to the north downhill from this proposed site are already blighted by surface and river water flooding in high rainfall events. Building here will create more run-off and increase flood risk to homes on Branksome Grove and Drive as well as increasing flow into the Aire. Millions is being spent on slowing the flow of rainwater into the Aire in Leeds FAS2 and shemes like this simply negate all that spending and effort. Leeds FAS2 is meant to improve matters, not enable further reckless building.
