On a personal level Black Carr Woods is one of my many walking & running routes which I use to help with my mental health. The ability to walk through the woods to Pudsey & Tong village to see all the natural beauty & local wildlife is one of the benefits of living in this area. There is not much going on where I live but to have this on our doorsteps helps to get out into the fresh air which with an access road will take this away from the current population & the future generations to come.

With the proposal for further building in this area, another issue would rise and has to be considered, at the present, we have already experienced traffic congestion at peak times during the working week, our daily facilities, schools, doctors, medical centers and shops are stretched to their limits, this would lead to further complications with increased traffic, further medical waiting times which are already at record highs and further overcrowding of schools and shops.
