Appendix 10 Sustainability Statement Checklist Comment
City of Bradford MDC
Sustainability Statement checklist
Purpose
This Sustainability Statement checklist is intended to help developers meet the minimum requirements of Local Plan policy ST3 when preparing Sustainability Statements.
Sustainability Statements are required for all major[1] residential and non-residential planning applications submitted to CBMDC to demonstrate compatibility with Local Plan policy ST3: Climate Change, Sustainability and Resource Use.
The checklist can be used in conjunction with the CBMDC Sustainability Statement template to draw up your own Sustainability Statement or used to check the content of sustainability statements provided to you by third parties prior to submitting your planning application.
It is recommended that you submit a completed copy of the Sustainability Statement checklist alongside your Sustainability Statement.
Sustainability Statements that do not adequately address all the items on the checklist may be rejected or slow down the decision process.
If you have any queries regarding completion of the checklist or provision of a Sustainability Statement, please contact CAPPlanningApplications@Bradford.gov.uk.
